Bier International is filled with communal wooden tables—its minimalist white walls and towering glass windows bring the street inside the restaurant space, making every meal a celebratory neighborhood affair. Hip Harlemites and yuppies with baby strollers share bar space. The occasional student wanders in while waning sunlight fills the restaurant with a warm glow. As the night progresses, the decibels climb over Kiss concert levels, and the chance student settles into this new New York groove. The Harlem dining revolution is happening here, in this intersection of soul food devotees and Whole Foods fanatics.

Ft Lauderdale Annual Christmas Boat Parade

A spectacular sight where over 100 lighted boats promenade along the Intracoastal Waterway through Fort Lauderdale, Winter fest Boat Parade is Florida’s most watched boat parade. Vessels sail north along the Waterway’s passage between the mainland and the barrier beaches.

Capri Italian Paradise

We rented a power boat for the day and cruised around Capri. The island is simply stunning to say the least. If you are looking for a great getaway outside of the usual west indies vacation, i would recommend Capri as a destination to consider.

Capri – Arival and surroundings

Getting to Capri and our accommodations. This would be the beginning of a wonderful trip. As you will see this was a trip well worth it’s weight in gold. the island itself is a walk back into centuries past. The buildings decor is reminiscent of 16th century Italy or Spain. And the accommodations are fit for a king or queen for that matter. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful island

Here are some great views at night! This is a great place to get away and relax. The owner, Jose Manuel Bermudez, has spent considerable time and effort on remodeling the location. In addition to a world-class restaurant, he has refurbished the accommodations and also selling land. Check it out while it is still a best kept secret.

Un Dia …Cabarete…One Day in Cabarete

little music to go with the scenery from Oscar Peterson, Aventura! Cabarete was a great little village that has evolved into the Kite Surfing Capital of the Caribbean if not the world. Blessed with a great bay and minimal waves, you can see how the people take advantage of the warm sea winds.
